Ballerinas II

The Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel always has fresh flowers scattered throughout.  One day as I was walking through the lobby, this white and red orchid caught my eye.  The contrast of the white and red against a plain dark background was so dramatic.  I thought this painting was a nice complement and possible companion to “Ballerinas I”.  I believe it captures similar grace and movement.  That is why I felt it only appropriate to title this orchid painting “Ballerinas II”.
