Unionville Sunbathers

There are magnificent hanging baskets of flowers that line the main street of Unionville, Ontario just north of Toronto.  The light was absolutely perfect on this particularly balmy day.  As I wandered around, I saw a number of breathtaking flowers but the red hibiscus literally reached out and grabbed me.  I was captivated by the juxtaposition of the lights and darks of the flowers combined with the really intriguing, almost jungle-like green background.  The angle of the flowers surrounded by the riot of bright green leaves made me feel the depth of the composition.
