Red Rose II

Red Rose II is part of a series of Encaustic paintings that I am doing that focus on the centers of roses.  I am amazed at the diversity of shape, color and light offered by the centers of roses!

 Red Rose I is 8"x8". The edge is painted black and is 1.5" deep.
