Together Through Time

This is one in my series of water lily paintings.  I love the resemblance that water lilies have to stars.  “Floating Stars“, one of my earlier water lily paintings impressed upon me the idea that stars are omnipresent.  You can’t always see them but they are always there.  It was this idea of permanency that I wanted to convey in this wedding gift for my brother-in-law, Andrew, and his bride, Amelia, when they were married in 2001.  “Together Through Time” is my wish for the permanence of Andrew and Amelia’s marriage.
